See...I told you there was more to come and here it is. First off let me answer some questions..
The house hunting is slow...but then again we are not really pushing real hard seeing as though the holidays are fast approaching and unless someone wants to buy a home for Christmas I think we are SOL until January. Plus the house we liked and was on the market for over a year was sold last week. CRAP! that's OK though cause we are looking for homes that have a basement and that particular one did not. The yard and location is what sold us.
Thanks for the Happy B day texts, emails and calls. I didn't realize I was liked by anyone...especially that many people. It was a great Birthday actually. I woke up early, Played some Xbox...grabbed some breakfast..played some more Xbox..then meet up with my family for Lunch. Minna and I later saw "Eagle Eye". It was a good show in my opinion. After we had Dinner then YEP YOU GUESSED IT...Ghost Hunters!! We watched it till the end and although we missed a few hours of it we saw some really cool stuff happen. We saw someones coat get pulled and heard some voices etc. I know, we are crazy but Minna and I really enjoy watching this show. Oh and thank you everyone for not calling me during that time period...however I would of answered still.
As you know a new president has been elected..and to be honest the man I was voting for did not win. I am not one of those people who will bag on the new president of the United States because I am not a Democratic Voter, however I will say this- Black, White Woman or Man I support the President of the United States of America. In other words, i am not one who discriminates. Although I am Republican head to toe and will not change I do support Barack Obama as our President of the United States of America. I am looking forward to the next four years, although I am afraid for our country with a few view points he wants to change for us. Time will tell, all I can say is...If he proves as a worthy man and can stand for our freedom as President Bush and others before him have I will support Obama. But...it doesn't mean I have to like him or his decisions. I personally feel that in four years a few Obama voters will say ..oops... like I said, time will tell.
On the happy note we have a new president elect and that is good. I will just make sure not to make a lot of money so I don't have to give it to some lazy ass person who thinks their contribution to society is based on my wages and income.
As I was getting dressed this morning I realized...I really like to walk naked through my house. It is a great sensation. Walking around..no one can see you but yet you feel like your accomplishing something daring by doing it. I don't know...sometimes I don't need a reason to strip to my bare nothingness and walk around my home...I just enjoy it...however It really is to get a reaction from Minna. Her reaction is usually....EWWWW !!! Stop that.... with that said, I encourage everyone to walk around naked in their own home at least 3 - 4 times a week. It's just flat out fun!!

A few things more..
Well, sometimes I forget that we have this blog and I forget to update it. A lot has happened since we last wrote and I guess I should bring people up to date....well for those who care to read this anyway.
First off- I will be 32 on Oct. 31st wierd huh? yeah, 32 and still feeling not 31 yet. Actually I do feel my age once in a while and for some reason I am really excited to be 32. But I will write more about that after the end of the month. Minna I think is more excited for my birthday then I am..and I am pretty excited to say the least. Last week we got home from dinner and she asked me if I wanted to open a Birthday present. I said, my B-day isn't for another 13 Days....But HECK YEAH I DO! My lovely wife gave me three presents to open. I got the newest DVD season of Ghost Hunters and the live episodes they do every Halloween. I also got a new Xbox Game (Star Wars Force Unleashed) and I am enjoying the heck out of it.
We have started to watch the newest season of ghost hunters Minna got me. Actually I should say Minna got us, as I said before...WE LOVE WATCHING GHOST HUNTERS. I know crazy huh? We just do and no matter how many times we re-watch the old ones over and over, we still enjoy them. We hope to one day travel to Rhode Island to see where TAPS headquarters is and maybe get pictures..who knows. Anyway, I know crazy but we are simple people and like simple things.
Speaking of my to be birthday- We went to Las Vegas two weeks ago. We will have pictures up on here for everyone to see soon. It was way fun as always. We went to the Blue Man Group and we both really enjoyed it. They used so many drums I was in absolute awe taking it all in. They are funny and they are fun to watch. I recommend seeing that show if you get a chance. If you need tickets ask Minna to help because she somehow gets these awesome seats for good prices. We paid like $30 to$ 40 less then the actual tickets cost for the show. My wife she is amazing!
We played Bingo a bunch of times and didn't win, but we did get free beer glasses so now we have a full set thanks to another couple giving us theirs since they already had the full set at home. ha! We played on the slot machines, mainly penny machines and had a few good hits. We found a system that works for us at the Vanetian and also works with other Casino's. Any time you get free slot play, get the card and cash out every winning no matter what. We did this and got our money back that we lost...wich wasn't much, but it sure was great to have. We went to our standard places, Coke Factory, M&M Factory Rainforest Cafe and In & Out Burger. We really had fun and will put up the pictures soon.
Every Birthday month we will go somewhere fun and I choose Vegas although I usually choose Moab or somewhere like that. But it was a good vacation and we really had a lot of fun.
We went to dinner with some of my friends last friday to a place called the Zinn Bistro. It is really good food. It is off of 22nd E. and 33rd S. It's a little pricey but worth it. Also, last night we went to dinner with some other friends (we have a lot of you friends we love to be with) to a place called the Wing Coop or something like that. They serve wings and on Monday's you get wings at 50 cents a wing. It is really good, but get more then 5...it doesn't fill you up as much as you hope.
Anyway, there is more we have done, but I will let Minna fill in the blanks plus my spelling isn't great and I write too much. I will say one thing...if your wondering what I am doing on my birthday... don't call us that night we wont answer, we will be watching the live episode of Ghost Hunters till the crack of dawn.

Weekend of Bliss...
Ok first off let me tell everyone something...I KNOW MY SPELLING SUCKS! It's not that I don't know how to spell, I just sometimes don't go back and read everything to correct. It's what I call quick typing. Besides, you all know what I am saying so no big right? My wife pointed out in my last Blog that I mis-spelled a word a few times..so here is the correct spelling on that word- Restaurant. So there I spelled it right and I will make more of an effort to check my spelling.
This past weekend was Conference and it was perfectly relaxing. Everything the Prophet and Apostles said was great and always is. I enjoyed Preisthood session on Saturday night and was really taken back Elder Scott's message. His so called "PPI" was something I think every man should take to heart and be able to answer correctly on. I don't know why his talk stuck out so much that night, but it just did and that got me to thinking...am I a bad husband? The answer to that is no (in my mind) however Minna may say otherwise when I don't do things like take out the trash when she asks. ha! jk, but really his talk was something I hope will be a message the church will stress upon when we have a lesson from the ensign. I think it is of great importance to let our wives know how much we honor, love and support them.
Minna and I pretty much slept through parts of the afternoon Saturday session. It was later that night that I made a major mistake. After Preisthood my Grandpa decided to take us to Dinner at the IHOP where I enjoyed my favorite kind of Pancakes...Pumpkin! So friggn delicious! I made the mistake of ordering a coke. They only had Pepsi and I settled. Well, I forget that I am 31 going on 32 this month and the older I get the more affects caffine has on my body after 9pm. I was up all night from Saturday to Sunday morning. Which is fine because I decided instead of tossing and turning in bed trying to sleep I might as well play Xbox. It worked, after a while I found my self falling to sleep while playing online agianst someone else. I woke up to seeing my statistics having decreased majorly because I slept and he proceeded to beat the crap out of my guy on the game we where playing. Im sure he thinks he is amazing now. Anyway, I finally fell to sleep and woke up in time to catch the last 3 talks of the Sundy morning session.
We also threw a BBQ on Friday night with all of Minna's friends and husbands. We where so happy everyone was able to show up. I apologize still if the food wasn't as cooked as well as I hoped...but when you have a freaking GREASE FIRE starting in your BBQ Grill the best thing to do was evacuate all meat products off that thing ASAP. Anyway, it was a blast and thanks for everyone who came. I want to give a special thanks the people on my Team...WE RULE!
So a weekend of family, fun, much needed rest and solitude....I can't complain!

THIS IS GREAT!
Well, It goes to show that now Minna is on the Blog we actually have something worth looking at. Minna is amazing, she got everything up and running and more people are coming to our blog. Not that it's important to us to have everyone check our Blog out on a daily basis, but it sure is cool to know you guys do anyway. Plus, it makes us feel cooler then we already are. ha!
OK Laura (my cousin) had a ton of suggestions and you know what...they worked so thank you and we will take your advice and do just that. Also, thanks for helping us too Lisa, we now know what we are doing. Lizard- If you didn't prime the pump by showing Minna what's up we would still have a very blank page and I would have soon forgotten our password and therefore not coming back till next August.
That out of the way, updates on Minna and Myself....we are good. We are looking at homes right now still but wether or not we get one we aren't feeling very rushed. We did find one that we liked, its smaller then we want but it has a lot of room to grow. I can see a ton of potential with it, but like I said, who knows what will happen.
Over the weekend we went with some friends up the canyon for dinner. We ended up at a resteraunt called the Creekside Diner or resteruant or something like that. It is located in the village at Solitude. It was actually a cute resteraunt a bit pricey, but the atmosphere of the color changing leaves through the window on the resort was a beautiful scenery. We got to our table and realized that the Entrees where a bit spendy for some meat and other wannabe fancy things, so we all ordered the Pizza and some soup. The Pizza was good and so was the soup and even the appitizer of Bree Cheese and some berry sauce wasn't too bad. I wouldn't make a special trip to go there again, but it was fun still.
I think I try to go up the canyons more before the first snow falls, the air is crisp and clean and the smell of the trees and small campfires almost revitalizes your self well being. I love the mountains and always will choose them over any ocean and beach anywhere.
I am working on getting my hunters safty so I can hunt atleast one day of my life to say I did it. It isn't something I really care to do, but my freinds seem to think its greater then farting in the tub so I would like to go and try it. I should be jumping at the opportunity however since I come from a family that has been hunting forever. My Grampa and Dad and his brothers all did it when they where younger, but I just didn't see how great it was and instead played Basketball and went skiing in the winters instead. That was better bonding time with my Dad then hunting a massive animal down to have to clean it and hike it out. My Dad felt the same way.
Minna is working her cute butt off making sure little kids get their education. So far this year seems to be a good one for her and the stories she has about her kids already are cute. She is a tough cookie, I don't know if I could handle 37 plus 3 year olds all day. This is why I have total faith in her when we have kids. With that much experience behind her my kids will never get bored. She will probably hop on and erase or change most what I am saying, but I don't care I think others should know how freakin cool my wife is.
Im excited for Fall this year. I will be 32 by the end of October and I can't wait, I don't know why I just am excited to be 32 yrs old. I look 26 and act 12 but still it has to average to 32 somehow. Plus this Fall I have plans for Minna and myself...maybe move into a home, go on a few weekend trips and maybe even visit my mission (I haven't told you yet Minna but I thought maybe we could go down sometime before the end of this year). Anyway, all is well with the Jones's and we are happy.
Keep reading our Blogs and we will stay up to date.

Hello everyone. Yesterday was the first time I have seen mine and Ben's blog because Liz finally showed me! Hopefully I will post things often and look at everyone's blog often. I am more of a facebook person though, so I am new to the whole blogging thing, so I'm just trying it out.

I TOLD YOU SO!
Well, I am impressed...all two of you read my new blog. Thank you Pfernder sisters. ha. seriously though, I promised I would return more often then once every six months and here I am. So...I told you so.
I realized as I read my last post that I totally mispelled a bunch of words. Forgive me...for some reason English was my strong point but spelling has never been. No matter how hard I tried. Anyway, more details about us... Last August was our 1 year anniversery. HOLY COW 1 year. Crazy. We basically did what everyone else does after each year...go to dinner. Yep, but we went to some little fancy cafe on 15th S. and 15th E. It was ok. Minna and I decided that we really aren't Fancy Dinning people anyway. We enjoy places like Chilis and Crown Burger! Its fun to go somewhere nice though, but I just felt like I did not belong. But, later we went to Cold Stone and loved every minute of it.
Minna is back to teaching and now has a busy schedule for the next 10 months. I continue to add to that busy schedule of her's as well. After watching 34 kids all day she comes home to the 35th child where I bug her for juice, crakers and a nap. Fortunatley she knew what she was getting into when I asked her to marry me and all this was to be expected. She is an amazing girl and I am lucky to be her hubby.
So besides work, not much else is really new in our lives. One year down, eternity to go!

OK SORRY!!! I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT!!
Alright, So Aania Gowans came to my office today and reminded me that I have not updated my Blog since April. Well, things got busy and I totally forgot my password to the site. How sad I know. So Assuming anyone does read this Blog....here is an update.
Minna and I are doing great. We are currently looking for a home and hope to find something soon. However, the Market supposively is good but I still think homes are price way to high right now. But between funerals, births and many get togethers with family we have been able to continue our search for a home and enjoy the summer.
I am very greatful for the weather right now and would not complain if this was our temp all year round. Actually a few months of the year it could really snow real good then go back to 70's and 80's for the rest of the year. That way I can get some skiing in.
I promise I will make an effort to keep this thing updated and not forget my password anymore. I also have a ton of pics of New York, Yellowstone and other fun places we have been to put up on this site.
Ok, sorry for the long waite and thank you Aania for updating me to get back on here.

Time to relax!
Well, the 15th has now past and I am having the hardest time trying to stay focused. After 3 busy months of coming to work early and staying late staring at a computer screen for 14 hours straigh 6 days of the 7 day week....I just can't find the energy inside me to work the rest of this week and because I have been conditioned to wake up early every morning, I even showed up early when I didn't really need to. Why I don't know, I haven't done a thing but answer a phone call or two, ok not really I have done more, but still it feels like I am here in body but in mind I am out golfing in sunny Arizona or something.
Speaking of which, Minna who I now call the Vacation Queen has booked a stay in a fun hotel down in Misquiet, Nevada where I will take full use of the spa treatments and enjoy every relaxing moment while away for the weekend. We are very excited and think that Thursday isn't coming fast enough.
I am however considering tonight to be the start of my weekend. After I litteraly PUSH myself to work today I get to go home..at a normal time and actually watch Ghost Hunters at the oringinal time and them maybe play some much needed Xbox. Yes! its true, I am doing those things, I feel it is something I deserve and suck on that if you think otherwise.
I am very ready for a break and 4 days sounds perfect to recoup. Although, I enjoyed working so hard and seeing pay offs from it, and not just money, but the way things worked and flowed so well. So I took that as a life lesson learned and am now implying it in my life as something I just do always. Its hard to explain....let me put it this way: becaue of the past three months I have stepped up the way I felt needed in my life. So basically the old Business Ben is gone and the New Business Ben is continuing to take over and stay. I like it, I enjoy it. ....and that may be something I should write in a journal and not a public story. Oh well who cares. The 15th is now over the future is looking bright. It is just real nice to have some time to relax and recoup.

There is always one night a week that everyone just wants to be left alone with out any phone calls, un-invited guests or any sort of distraction. Mainly because the show you enjoy most is on and it takes precedence over anything else in your life. Well most anything.
We really really like watching Ghost Hunters on the SciFi Channel. I have ALWAYS thought that there is paranormal activity out there. I have had experiences that prove there is. Some spiritual and some that just go unexplained. Believing this never swayed me away from my religious beliefs, but with what I have seen and heard in my life, Paranormal activity is undeniable and it can and may be out there.
Minna and I stumbled on Ghost Hunters while dating. Then after we got married we stumbled across it again and became HUGE FANS. So huge infact, that we went out and purchased all the seasons available to catch up on what has been investigated. These guys are cool. Normal people with normal jobs that dedicate some time money and gear to finding out what really goes bump in the night. They go to real places that are said to be haunted. By watchin this show, I have learned that a lot of stuff can be "Debunked" because or rattling pipes or creeky floors etc. But what really is cool when they catch stuff on Camera that honestly cannot be explained.
So far we have seen them catch Doors opening and closing on their own like someone is coming in and out of them. I have heard voices they have caught on tape or camera that answer their specific questions. Apparitions have been caught on tape when no one is around, or sometimes they see them with thier own eyes.
This is a way cool show that can get you a little creeped out and puts just enough fear into you that you want to know what is going on to keep watching. Minna and I are immune to most of the findings now like the voices and moving objects but it sill can give us that edge of a scare and is cool to watch through to the end.
So if your home on a Wed. night and you have the SciFi Channel, turn on over to it and check it out. If you don't want to, that is fine as well just don't give me a call between the times of 7PM - 10PM. I wanted to find some stuff they have found and post it on here but in fear of Copywrite infringment I am just putting down the website you can go to and see full episodes or brief clips of thier findings. Enjoy!

You can't really see me doing it, but it was almost as a big hit as King Louie.
This is one of my favorite pictures. The Sunsest was so pretty and we had SO MUCH FUN
at Universal Studios. We where so beat after that day.
Me in front of my favorite ride ever. Spiderman!
If I was to choose to be a superhero, it would be Spidey.
Im pretty sure Minna made it a point to tug on every Characters Tail we saw. She loves that stuff. Also, we had a lot of fun and have a TON of pics of Orlando, but these are a few I found that I could get to quickly.
Changes-
Alright...so I think this blog needs some pictures on it. So I am not sure how to do it, but I am guessing my way through it. Help me if you have the right way to do this.
I am putting up pictures of our Honeymoon. We went to Disney World and Universal Island in Orlando. It was so much fun we are planning to go back as soon as possible. This is just a test run so deal with it until I figure out how this sucker works.

This is how cool my wife is. I come home the other day and she said to me she got me something. I thinking it was some candy or something like it, and she pulls out an "INCREDIBLE HULK & IRONMAN" comic book. Now, I know im coming up on my 32nd B-day but the sheer excitment made me almost pee two drops in my pants. Yes, I am a huge fan of any Marvel comic anything!! So this was a cool thing to get. My wife loves me and it shows. (not that I didn't think she did, but how can you not see it when you get cool stuff like that?)
On the rest of our lives, we are doing great. We are looking at cars for me to buy at the moment. I need one pretty badly, but hate the fact that I gotta spend more money to get one. My Jeep runs fine, but the cosmetics of the thing looks bad and I gotta put more money into it just to make it look decent. So, its a coin toss...spend the money for a new car...or spend the same money and fix the thing. Its a toss up..but I think new car will win.

The saga-
Ok so guessing I have not lost your attention- moving on- A lot has happened in the last 6 months. First let me bring those up to speed who may not know. Minna and I will be married now for 6 months this month, and to be honest it feels like its been forever. ha. not in a bad way though. We just know each other so well and that it feels like we have been married for a long time and we are enjoying everything about it.
Minna is a pre-school teacher and works for a great organization. She loves it too, the kids are so dang cute and a lot of fun and smart as can be. And to brag- I think she is an amazing teacher in the first place. It's a comfort to know that she is so good with kids, cause that means she will be the worlds best MOM!!!
I am working with my Dad. He brought me on as partner to the biz about 4-5 years ago. Since then I have been in the field I never wanted to be in my whole life...Accounting. I am not really an accountant, but that is what I work with basically. I am studying to get my license as a Payroll Specialist however. Still, the one subject I sucked at I am knee deep in..math ugh. I should of been an artist or writer or even a landscaper..but this opportunity has been the greatest experience for me. I have learned so much by being involved in this business more then I would if I went to school for it even. I was looking at being a psychologist when I was going to school. I should of just kept going but got competely burned out. Oh well, its in the past and I am completely Happy where I am at with what I do.
Sheesh..how do you sum up 6 months in one paragraph? Alright I got it. We got married, went to Florida for the honeymoon, LOVED IT! (going back for sure) meet extended family on both sides, gone on many vacations- Vegas 3 times, Moab and Zions. had our first christmas together, my car broke down for the 3rd time, bought a couple new Xbox games we can play together (how hot is it that my wife can play drums on Rockband? VERY!!!!), I proved to Minna that I actually do play drums and im very good at them, frustrated Minna many times because I am a stubborn idiot, and now... we are both sick and want to get over our colds or whatever it really is. There, that is a very very brief rough draft of our past 6 months. There is a lot more of course, but Im really not sure A) how much I can write on here B) how good your attention span is to actually have read this far. So with that said, we will post some pictures soon and hopefully my beautiful wife will want to write a few things as well.
Enjoy!

ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT! I will post something
OK! so it has come to my attention that I need to change up our Blog a bit since the latest blog was regarding Christmas. YIKES! that was forever ago it seemed.
I really don't log onto this site basically because I thought Blogging was a little wierd to post my whole personal life on a place where any person can access pictures and stories of my life. But my little sister instisted I do this and then I later find out that My highschool friends wives have a blog and even college friends as well. SO! im giving in and I will manage my blog so you all can go ahead and read about my wife and I and how we are doing.
Minna may find this a little wierd, but then again I don't know because I never really asked her about it. My guess is that I will be managing the site and that means a lot of misspelled words, improper grammer and what I like to call "Hobbitisms" or "Jonesys Epistles". That means nothing to you now, but as you come back to this site you will eventually get what I mean. Basically in a nutshell it means, I write and you get to interpret.
MOVING ON! A lot has happend in our newly formed family of 6 months now. ...wait I should start another blog this one may loose your attention.
