What is up with our Blog?
So I think we have the crappy Blog because we are suppose to be able to make all sorts of cool thing happen with backgrounds and stuff but far beit from me to know why I can't do things like : Click the Dashboard icon and it does nothing etc... Its wierd. Do we have the C grade blog or do we need to upgrade..??? anyone?

You click on Dashboard and nothing happens? Hmm. After I log in instead of clicking on NEW POST click on either Edit Layout or CUSTOMIZE. When you get there you should be able to go to PAGE ELEMENTS. I got my cool background from The Cutest Blog on the Block and click on Free Backgrounds. I am sure there are lots of other sites. Then you just copy the HTML code and add it to your page as a HTML/Javascript. Just trying to help ya!
By the way, that was a hint that you need an upgrade! At least make it a B grade with a pic of you too or something! :)
If you both need help I will show you how do everything you are trying to do.. Because I am your favorite little sister.
Ok, so I read like 100 blogs. It is not the background that makes a blog for me. It is the content and I am also a big picture fan. Write about controversies, what you do, what ticks you off, etc, etc. I have blogged for a long time and I have just a plain black background, plus mine is just a mommy blog. I don't know if it makes people not want to come back or not, but I like it simple so it is simple. Another thing is that you have to post a lot and then people come back more. I have a photography blog and I was posting everyday. I was getting more and more readers. Then I got lazy, stopped posting and nobody is looking -- I am going to stop neglecting that blog soon, but it is important to post. My biggest suggestion is put the pictures in your blog post and tell about what makes you happy, sad, mad, or glad. Oh, I am your cousin by the way. Long time no see and I am glad you are going to stop neglecting this blog of yours.
